In an exciting and unexpected conservation success, 1,200 adult spring-run Chinook salmon—originally released as part of the San Joaquin River Restoration Program—made their way to the Tuolumne River, where they’ve found abundant habitat and cold, clean water in which to spend the summer prior to spawning in the fall.

Tuolumne River partners complete habitat restoration project

Michael Frantz, Director Division 1 and Becky Hackler Arellano, Director Division 4, were sworn in for four-year terms on the Turlock Irrigation District Board of Directors, ending in December 2028.
Brad Koehn Appointed General Manager at TID

The Turlock Irrigation District (TID) Board of Directors has appointed Brad Koehn as General Manager, effective June 21, 2024. Koehn will replace Michelle Reimers who announced her resignation on May 31, 2024, after an 18-year career with the District. Koehn has been with TID for 13 years and has held various leadership roles at the District, most recently serving as the Chief Operating Officer since 2020.
