OFFER Program
The program helps TID growers convert to pressurized irrigation systems that meet District standards and improve on-farm water use.
If you are considering converting your flood irrigation system to a pressurized irrigation system (i.e. land conversion), you must first verify that a non-standard head of water can be delivered to your property. Systems installed without prior approval from TID may be denied water if the configuration is not compatible with the District’s infrastructure and operations. TID’s On-Farm Flow Efficiency Recommendation (OFFER) Program can assist with these conversions.
The OFFER program is available to TID irrigation customers who currently receive water and is meant to assist growers in meeting their irrigation needs while also adhering to TID’s construction and design standards. TID will send members of our Civil Engineering and Water Distribution departments to meet with you at your property to assess your specific irrigation situation and help you identify potential opportunities to increase your overall efficiency.
To learn more about the program or begin an evaluation, please email offerprogram@tid.org or call (209) 883-8447.

There is no cost to the TID Customer to participate in the OFFER Program.
While pressurized systems can improve efficiency, they may also reduce groundwater recharge in your area. TID staff can discuss these and other potential impacts during your evaluation.
