Transformers and Substation Improvements
The reconfiguration of specifically located substations will help to limit system overloads during peak conditions and will provide power operators additional relay coordination, improving the overall TID transmission system reliability.
These projects will include updating, refurbishing, and replacing substation equipment that is nearing the end of its service life.
Identified substations requiring updates and improvements are located in Turlock, Ceres, and Patterson.
