TID Energy Scholarship Program
The TID Energy Scholarship Program was developed to promote workforce development, support local talent, and strengthen TID’s role in energy infrastructure in an effort to create a lasting impact on the community.
Up to $2,500 available to high school seniors that reside in an income eligible household, pursuing a college degree or trade school certification, with a focus on careers in the energy utility sector.
Eligibility
- Must be a high school senior within TID service territory that is eligible for graduation.
- Parent/Guardian must be a TID customer.
- Household must be income qualified based on the FAFSA Student Aid Index.
- Must plan to attend an accredited college or technical school full time.

How to Apply
TID has partnered with Stanislaus Community Foundation.
Applications open January 1, 2026.
Limitations and Exclusions
- One (1) Scholarship per student.
- Scholarship award cannot exceed program/education costs.
- Scholarship funds are not eligible for housing or housing related expenses.
