TID Residential Electric Vehicle Terms and Conditions
Turlock Irrigation District (TID) Residential Electric Vehicle Rebate Program (Program) is intended to encourage the purchase and use of qualifying electric vehicles within the boundaries of TID.
The Program may be modified, amended or terminated without prior notice, at the sole discretion of TID.
Completed applications are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis and are processed in the order received until funds are exhausted or the Program is terminated. The acceptance of an application by TID is not a guarantee of rebate funds.
The applicant must be an active customer of record (Customer) of TID, and must remain so throughout the entire rebate process.
The Qualifying Electric Vehicle (Qualifying EV) must:
Be purchased at a retail automobile sales company. Private party sales, transfers between parties, gifts, prizes, or any other method of owning a vehicle other than purchase from a retail automobile sales company do not qualify for the Program;
Be registered with the California Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) at the address of the Customer within the TID electric service territory;
Be able to charge via plugging into an electrical outlet;
The Customer need not be the DMV registered owner of the Qualifying EV however, the registered owner must permanently reside at the address of the Customer.
Rebates cannot be assigned or transferred.
Completed applications must be received by TID no later than six (6) months from the date of purchase or lease in order to be eligible for the Program. Applications that are not complete, without a signature, or without all required documents will neither be processed nor entitle the Customer to be included in the first-come, first-served funding order of the rebate.
A maximum of two (2) Electric Vehicle rebates are allowed per residential customer account.
Rebate eligibility is determined at the time of application, based on the information received.
TID is not responsible for any items delayed or lost in the mail.
TID disclaims any and all liability for loss or damage which may arise as a result of the Customer’s participation in this rebate program.

The Turlock Irrigation District (TID) Residential Charger Rebate Program is intended to encourage the purchase and use of Qualifying Electric Vehicles within the boundaries of the TID.
The Program may be modified, amended or terminated without prior notice, at the sole discretion of TID.

The applicant must be an active customer of record (Customer) of the TID, and must remain so throughout the entire rebate process.
The rebate is limited to the cost of the charging equipment (not including installation or labor).
The Qualified Electric Vehicle Supply Equipment (Charger) must:
Be New (not refurbished) and Level 2 Charger;
Be certified by Underwriters Laboratories Inc. (UL Listed);
Be installed at the address on the application.
Equipment must be hardwired installed on a wall or pedestal mount.
Portable Chargers are ineligible.
Itemized invoice for charger purchase must include the model name, number and purchase price.
The Qualifying Electric Vehicle (Qualifying EV) must:

Commercial Electric Vehicle
Vehicle(s) must be registered to the same location on TID commercial account when applicable.
Electric Vehicle may be new or used, but must be purchased from a retail automobile sales company.
Rebate must be received by TID within six (6) months of the purchase or lease date.
Limit to 5 EV rebates per account (excluding school buses).

Commercial EV Charger
Applies to the purchase and installation of a new Level 2 electric vehicle charger installed at a business.
Limit (10) per commercial account.
Rebate up to $1,000 per charger.
Customer retains LCFS* credits.
DC Fast Charger Installed at a Business
Applies to the purchase and installation of a new DC Fast Charger installed at a business.
DCFC ≤ 100 kW – $10,000
DCFC > 100 kW – $20,000
Max $50,000 per site.
Customer agrees to sign over LCFS* credits to TID.
Commercial EV Infrastructure
Applies to the purchase and installation of Level 2 Electric Vehicle chargers at a business.
Limit (1) per commercial site.
Rebate up to $15,000
Cannot be combined with Commercial EV Charger or DC Fast Charger rebates.
Customer agrees to sign over LCFS* credits to TID.
The Turlock Irrigation District (TID) Commercial EV Service Equipment Rebate Program is intended to encourage the purchase and use of Qualifying Electric Vehicles within the boundaries of the TID.
Rebates are provided up to the limit of the rebate or the total cost of purchase and installation, whichever is less.
The Program may be modified without prior notice at the sole discretion of TID.
Completed applications are accepted on a first-come, first served basis and are processed in the order received until the funds are exhausted or the Program is terminated. The acceptance of an application by TID is not a guarantee of rebate funds.
