Room Air Conditioner

Get a $50 rebate when you replace your old existing room air conditioner with a new ENERGY STAR® qualified model. New ENERGY STAR® room air conditioners come with better materials and clearer instructions to improve sealing and insulation around the unit, so costly and uncomfortable air leaks are minimized. Ductless Mini Split Air Conditioner

Ductless Mini Split A/C

Get a $330/ton rebate when you purchase a new ENERGY STAR® ductless mini split air conditioning unit. With as much as half the energy used in your home going to heating and cooling, choosing ENERGY STAR® qualified equipment can have a big impact on your comfort, while helping you save money on your energy bill. Central Air Conditioner

Central Air Conditioner

Install a new central air conditioner and get a  $250 rebate when you purchase and install a new qualifying central air conditioning unit or, a $500 rebate when you purchase and install a new qualifying high efficiency central air conditioning unit. $350 rebate when you purchase and install a new qualifying central heat pump.

Whole House Fan

Whole House Fan

Out with the hot air and in with the cool! Purchase and install a whole-house fan and receive a $75 rebate from TID. Residence must have air conditioning to qualify for rebate.

Solar Attic Fan

Solar Attic Fan

A cooler air temperature in the attic reduces the amount of air conditioning needed to keep the house cool. Receive a $100 rebate for purchasing and installing a new solar attic fan. Sun Screen

Sun Screens

Get a $1 per square foot rebate when you cover your windows with heavy-duty, vinyl-coated sun screens that block at least 80 percent of the sun’s heat. North facing windows are excluded and your home must have air conditioning to qualify.

Radiant Barrier

Radiant Barrier

Radiant barriers reduce summer heat gain and winter heat loss, which helps lower heating and cooling costs. Customers who install radiant barriers can receive a rebate of $0.10 per square foot of attic space. To qualify, your residence must have central air conditioning. To claim your rebate:

  • Purchase an ENERGY STAR® qualified appliance.
  • You’ll need a copy of your store receipt and your TID account number, as well as the yellow ENERGY GUIDE from the appliance (if it has such a label).
