TID CARES Program

Save on your monthly energy bill with the TID CARES Program. Residential customers who qualify for the program will receive a discount on their residential customer charge, as well as the first 800 kilowatt-hours of use.

Qualification

You must complete a CARES application to see if you qualify for the program. Completed applications can be submitted for approval at any TID Customer Service office.

Applicability

The CARES Program applies to residential customers receiving service under residential rates who meet the eligibility requirements.

Eligibility

To be eligible for the CARES Program, you must meet the following requirements:

• The total gross household income must conform to the Government Income Guidelines as specified in the table above.
• You are not claimed as a dependent on another person's income tax return.The service address shown on the application is your primary residence.
