At TID, we believe no one should go without basic utilities. We strive to help all customers facing challenges managing their energy costs, with a number of assistance programs to make bill payment and budgeting easier.
Qualified customers may receive a discount on their monthly energy bills.
If you or another full-time resident in your home uses a medical life-support device or requires special living conditions, you may be eligible to receive a discount.
A federally funded energy assistance program that helps customers in lower income households meet their immediate home energy needs.
TID will notify the family members or caregivers of customers enrolled in this program when their monthly bill goes unpaid.
Customers enrolled in this program will receive 12 equal bills each year, that divide their annual electric bill into equal monthly payments.
TID has contracted with organizations to provide weatherization services for families who meet the income qualification guidelines.
