Start, Stop or Transfer Service  

You may start, stop or transfer electric service by visiting any of the three Business Offices in Turlock, Patterson or Ceres. You may also call us at 883-8222.  

Be prepared to tell us the date your service needs to be activated or turned off.  You'll need two forms of identification, such as a driver's license, social security card, or passport.



Deposit Information

To find out if a deposit is needed to activate service, call Customer Service at 883-8222. For those in the Patterson area, call 892-4953.



Payment Information

There are a number of convenient ways you can pay your TID bill:

In Person, you can pay your TID bill at any customer service location or any authorized TID pay station. Customer Service and pay station locations.

By Mail, you may mail payments to us at: Turlock Irrigation District, P.O. Box 949, Turlock, CA 95381-0949. Be sure to include your payment stub and write your account number on your check to ensure your payment is accurately applied.

Online, log on to "My Account" and view your current and past bills as well as make a payment.

Request a Duplicate Bill  

You may request a duplicate bill by visiting any TID customer service location, logging on to your account, by calling 883-8222 (892-4953 from the Patterson area) or by emailing us at Customerservice@tid.org. You may be asked to provide your account number and identifying information.




Protect Yourself Against Energy Theft

TID works hard to deliver safe, reliable, and affordable utility services to you. When someone tampers with utilities, or commits service thefts to avoid payments, they put themselves and others in danger. Utility theft is a crime and increases cost to honest TID customers. Energy theft is something TID takes very seriously, but we need your help to curb this illegal activity. If you suspect energy theft is occurring, please report it by submitting the energy theft submission form or by calling the 24-hour TID Energy Theft Tip Line at 209-883-3444. All calls and information will remain confidential.
