Rob Santos, President

Director Santos represents Division 4 and has been a member of the Board of Directors since 2007. He currently is the District’s representative for the Don Pedro Recreation Agency Board of Control and the Personnel and Compensation Committee. Director Santos is president of Valley Critter Care, Inc., which operates two veterinary hospitals in Turlock. He was a part-time instructor at Modesto Junior College Agriculture Department and is a member and past president of the Chatom School Board. Director Santos helped to establish the Turlock Historical Society and is past president of the Turlock Downtown Association, Northern San Joaquin Veterinary Association and the Turlock Exchange Club.

Charles Fernandes, Vice President

Director Fernandes represents Division 2 and has been a member of the Board of Directors since 2001. He is the District’s representative to the Drinking Water Committee and the Personnel and Compensation Committee. He also serves as an alternate representative on the Don Pedro Recreation Agency Board of Control. Director Fernandes is co-owner of Country Ford in Ceres, California and is a past member of the Ceres Chamber of Commerce Board.

Michael Frantz, Director

Director Frantz represents Division 1and has been a member of the Board of Directors since 2009.  He is a co-owner of Frantz Wholesale Nursery, LLC, a wholesale grower of containerized trees and shrubs.  His Hickman based farm utilizes an elaborate water recycling system, and is a leader in water conservation among the wholesale nursery community.  Director Frantz is a past board member of California Agricultural Network, a self insured workers compensation group.  He is a director for the Stanislaus County Farm Bureau, and is a member of the Specialty Crop Advisory Board to the California Department of Food and Agriculture.  He serves as the District's representative for the Pension Investment fund.  Michael, his wife Kristy and son Landon reside in Hickman.

Joe Alamo, Director

Director Alamo represents Division 3 and has been a member of the Board of Directors since December 2009.  Director Alamo received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Agribusiness from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo and currently owns and operates a dairy and farming operation with his two brothers.  He is a current member and past president of the Central Counties Dairy Herd Improvement Association.  He is a Director of the Turlock Pentacost Association as well as serving on the Board of the Cal Poly AGR Alumni Association. Director Alamo is also a member of Western United Dairyman and Stanislaus County Farm Bureau.  He is a representative on the District's Drinking Water Committee and the Pension Investment Committee.

Ron Macedo, Director
Director Macedo represents Division 5 and has been a member of the Board of Directors since December 2009. He owns R.A.M. Farms in Turlock, CA and was the past President of Stanislaus County Farm Bureau. Currently, Director Macedo is the State Director for the California Farm Bureau Federation, District 13. He is also involved in the Sweet Potato Advisory Council, the Cal-Arizona Watermelon Association and a board member for the Turlock Rural Fire Department. Director Macedo is a representative on the District's Facilities Committee.
